Type 1 And Type 2 Diabetes

There Are Two Main Types Of Diabetes

In Type 1 diabetes, when insulin producing cell in the
pancreas which help to regulate blood sugar levels have
been destroyed.Type 1 diabetes is also known as juvenile
diabetes because it is mostly diagnosed on patients with
usually starts in childhood, although some people develop
Type 1 diabetes when they are adults below age 35.

Type 1 diabetes,is an autoimmune disease.An autoimmune
disease results when the body's system for fighting infection
(the immune system) turns against a part of the body.In
diabetes, the immune system attacks and destroys the insulin
producing beta cell in the pancreas. The pancreas then
produces little or no insulin.A person who has Type 1
diabetes must take insulin daily to live.

Type 2 diabetes, the cell in the body tissues become unable
to respond properly to insulin. This means that the pancreas
has to work harder to produce more insulin. This causes the
cell in the pancreas become 'worn out' and are unable to
produce insulin as effectively as they used to.This generally
happens after the age of  40.

Type 2 diabetes is most common form of diabetes is most
often associate with older age, obesity, family history of
diabetes,previous history of gestational diabetes,physical
inactivity,and certain ethnicity.

People who are overweight are particularly likely to develop
Type 2 diabetes.However,Type 2 diabetes is increasing
being diagnosed in children and adolescents today.

Type 2 Diabetes is a lifestyle disease that often can be
prevented or controlled by a proper diet and exercise.

What Is Diabetes?

When the body has difficulty in regulating its blood sugar,
or glucose levels a disorder is contracted named, diabetes.
Diabetes mellitus, it is a lifelong disease that needs to be
treated and managed properly in order to prevent other
serious complications to occur.

When you have diabetes, your body has a problem making
or properly using insulin.Insulin function is in order for cell to
be able to use the glucose that is the blood to make energy,
they need to be 'unlocked',and insulin is the key.Insulin is a
hormone, made in the pancreas.

There is steady release of insulin from beta-cell in the pancreas
into the blood all the time. However, when blood sugar levels rise
after a meal, there is a short burst of increased insulin released
from the pancreas.

Along with the glucose, insulin is then transported around the body
in the blood to the cell which are in need of 'fuel’.On the surface
of these cell are 'landing pads' for insulin, known as receptors.
These receptors are a bit like tiny keyholes for the insulin 'key'.

When this system is working properly, blood sugar remain fairly
constant throughout the day. When blood sugar rises, for example
after a meal, the extra insulin that is released from the pancreas
allows the glucose to be taken up into cells, restoring the level in
the blood back to normal. On the other hand, when insulin levels
are low, the liver released glucose from its glycogen stores to top
up the blood sugar level.

Common Symptoms Of Diabetes Include:

-Excessive urination.
-Being very thirsty.
-Feeling very hungry or tired.
-Unexplained weight Loss.
-Poor wounds healing.
-Infections:genital,skin infections.

Diabetes is a very serious disease.
Diabetes can lead to other serious health problems. When high
levels of glucose in the blood are not controlled, they can
slowly damage your eyes,heart,kidneys,nerves,and feet.

Tips Success To Treat Diabetes Wounds Healing

When you doing by your self and family, You must be bold and
more effort to learn to do therapy. This is very important to whose
  doing this types of treatment.
From my experience, many patients and families, very scared to
do clean the wounds, Even have been teaching simple method to
  cleaning the wound.

a)Monitoring daily taken insulin injections or Diabetes Pills are
required to maintain a normal glucose level. Taking over insulin
injection or Diabetes Pills, this will be dangerous to patient which
can causing hypoglycemia.so, please use glucose meter to confirm
blood sugar level, before taking insulin or diabetes pills.(after meal
  taking is prefer)

b)Daily checking levels periodically and record blood sugar readings
as a reference by using blood glucose meter .

c)Avoid eating any food make by eggs, all kinds of bean, seafood,
hot dog, fast food, carbonated drinks, fruit juices, biscuits, cake, jam,
chocolates, ice-cream and all the sweeten foods etc.. these will be
cause increasing wounds affected area or generate bad smelly pus,
wounds becomes worse and more complicated to treat and slow
  down wounds healing process.

d)Diabetes wounds no need to use bandage, but must always
take care to avoid fly insects stays and causing worm.
Without bandage, wounds will be more fast to increase healing
  process.

e)Family members need to fully support, advice and take care
all the daily needs of the patient during wounds treatment period.
-as a aide to help with wound care and dressing
 -monitor blood sugar,
 -daily food taken,
-daily monitor consumption of medicine(antibiotics,etc..) and
   combination of healthy product.
